Networks that work. Built on the Gold Coast.

Whether it's bad Wi-Fi, a new office or a multi-site build, centrase designs the network around how the business actually runs — not around what's easy to install.

What we work on

What we work on

Could be a fault, an upgrade, a new site or ongoing support. The proposal says exactly what equipment, installation, testing and documentation applies to the job — no surprises on the day.

LAN design and build

Structured cabling, switching, patch panels, and rack installation. Designed for your floor plan and capacity requirements.

Multi-site connectivity

Internet provisioning, failover and secure connectivity between sites, designed around the available services and business requirements.

Wi-Fi and switching

Site assessment, access-point placement, switching, controller configuration and network separation. Designed for coverage, capacity and manageability.

Firewalls and VPNs

Firewall policy, VLANs, site-to-site connectivity and remote access using the appropriate platform for the environment.

Server rooms and racks

Rack installation, UPS, cooling review, cable management and labelling can form part of a server-room project.

Cameras and surveillance

Camera, recorder and network planning for IP surveillance deployments, where it is part of the agreed infrastructure project.

Custom servers & workstations

Rack servers (1U–4U) and workstations built on the Gold Coast to your exact spec - CAD, rendering, or general business. Not ordered from a catalogue.

How we work

How we approach infrastructure projects

01

Scope and design

We find out what's there, what's broken and what the constraints are. The scope is proportional to the job — not a fixed discovery process applied to every site visit.

02

Build

Equipment, installation, configuration and testing are all covered in the agreed scope. Timing, access and outage windows are confirmed before anything changes.

03

Handover

Testing, records, config docs and ongoing support - all defined in the proposal. What's included at handover depends on the job.

Common questions

Networking and infrastructure - common questions

Does centrase handle both new builds and upgrades to existing networks?

Yes. centrase works on both greenfield projects (new offices, new buildings) and upgrades to existing environments. For existing networks, we audit first so recommendations are based on what is actually there.

Do you provide equipment or does the client supply it?

Equipment can be supplied where it forms part of a scoped infrastructure project, or centrase can work with suitable client-supplied hardware. Hardware procurement is not offered as a standalone catalogue service.

Can centrase manage ongoing firewall changes after the build?

Yes. Firewall policy changes, VPN access and ongoing network support can be included in a managed IT agreement. The systems and responsibilities must be defined in that scope.

Do you carry out structured cabling?

Yes. centrase manages structured cabling projects including Cat6/6A, fibre, and patch panel installation. We coordinate with cable contractors where required and oversee installation to standard.

How do you handle network projects in occupied offices?

We identify likely disruption during planning and agree suitable access or outage windows. The change plan, testing and rollback requirements depend on the environment and the work being performed.

Got a network problem or a project coming up?

Tell Kevin what's happening or what you're planning. We'll work out what needs to be scoped.
