Gold Coast IT, since 2007.

centrase has worked with Gold Coast businesses for nearly 20 years. Straight advice, no lock-in contracts, and the same person answering the phone.

How centrase started

Built to do it right.

I started centrase in 2007 after working for IT firms that didn't fix things properly — or designed solutions that didn't solve the actual problem. Hours of warranty work, shared expenses, arguments over who was paying. Soul-destroying for everyone involved.

My view was simple: do it right once. There's too much to do without revisiting the same problem twice.

I've worked through every major platform shift — from Windows and Linux servers in the early days through to cloud and mobile. The tools change. The fundamentals don't.

That range means I can look at the whole picture — hardware, software, network, cloud — without needing a different specialist for every layer.

That's still how centrase operates.

How centrase operates

How centrase operates

No lock-in contracts

No lock-in contracts. The commercial terms, what's covered and what's not are set out clearly in the proposal before anything starts.

Local IT, not an offshore helpdesk

Based on the Gold Coast. You're not calling an offshore helpdesk or getting bounced between support tiers. You call Kevin.

Honest recommendations

Recommendations are based on fit, risk and value — not on making the proposal bigger than it needs to be. Where there are real options, the trade-offs are explained.

Practical over fashionable

New tools get assessed against the business problem, the likely value and the cost of actually supporting them — not against whatever's trending.

What makes centrase different

Three things worth knowing

01

Documentation is agreed up front

The proposal states what gets documented, what access is handed over and what falls outside scope. No ambiguity about who owns what when the job is done.

02

Support can continue after a project

Ongoing support, maintenance and change work can be included or arranged separately after a project. What's covered and what isn't is agreed — not assumed.

03

We'll tell you if we're not the right fit

If a requirement is outside scope or needs a different specialist, that gets said upfront — not discovered mid-project.

Independent by design

The right tool for the job.

We don't have vendor targets. We recommend what actually fits.
